Pimpin 4 the Sydney Fringe. This photo was taken by Stephen Oxenbury just by the smoke stacks at Sydney Park in St Peters
Dave Masters took these pimp shots. Text was added using a website called Roflbot. That's like a robot that makes you roll on the floor laughing. Mostly people use it to add stupid captions to pictures of their cats. Like "oh nooooo, not again"
The only photo of my show at the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe. Taken by Katja Liebing
Itu Taito took this shot of Luke Escombe and the Corporation "Live in the Studio". The crowd were well fed and watered and sh*t got crazy
Taken by Tull Kidron at "Live in the Studio". I like photos where I look like an alien fish creature
This was the album cover for Luke Escombe and the Corporation "Live in the Studio". It was taken by Marshall Cullen, who runs both Damien Gerard Studios and Foghorn Records
My cousin Keegan Davis took this shot of the band playing at The Rails in Byron Bay in Jan 2011. It ended up being our last gig of the tour, due to floods. Somewhere on that tour we learnt to be a rock and roll band.
I love the artwork at the Rails. Very Byron Bay. I also love the way my Orville Gibson 335 looks in photos. Keegan Davis took this one
My little sister Mel took this one at the Butterfly Club in South Melbourne, on the opening night of my show at the Melbourne Comedy Festival
Katja Liebing took this at the Vanguard during the "Drop tha Bomb" single and video launch. Dig the Orwellian "Big Brother" vibe
I also like live shots where it looks as though the band are burning in the flames of hell. Mel Escombe took this one from the mosh pit
I love this shot, it's the first photo you see on my app. Taken by KL at the Vanguard
I've always wanted to smash a red ukelele. It took me a couple of hits to crack it open. This was taken by KL at a photographic studio in...I think, Artarmon...which was transformed into an airport for the "Drop tha Bomb" video clip
Yes, that chainsaw is plugged in, and ridiculously dangerous. Safety precautions on set were non-existent. I'm amazed the guy holding the camera didn't lose a limb. The chainsaw's chain got ripped off by the metal hinge in the antique suitcase that I was sawing through. But it was worth it! Photo by KL
This is "Mario", the airport security guard with the latex glove fetish, doing a bit of stand up at the Drop tha Bomb single launch. Photo by KL
I love how seedy this photo is. Mario won quite a few female admirers that night. My little sis snapped this one
Another great live shot for the Katja Liebing portfolio. Taken at the Vanguard in June 2011
A notorious still from the "Drop tha Bomb" video shoot. That "arab sheikh" costume cost a ridiculous 70 bucks to rent, and a further $15 for the beard (I was mortified to find the same beard a day later in a 2 dollar shop). I hadn't even considered the problem of how I was going to keep my dignity while wearing that outfit. The video editor Steve Kirkby must have seen some terrible things during the editing of this clip. Thanks to KL for being on set to get the pic
This was the shot I sent to the Manly Daily when they needed a photo to go with the story of my trip to Parliament House to speak about Crohn's disease. It was taken at the Townie in Newtown one Monday night in May 2011 by Katja Liebing. It's handy to have at least one shot where you don't look like a terrorist, sex maniac or circus freak.
